Introduction

This Privacy Policy notice describes how QUBO Tecnologia e Sistemas Ltda (collectively with its affiliates, “Qubo” “we“, “our” or “us“) handles and protects the information it collects or receives from the users (“users” or “you“) of its website at http://www.qubo.uno (the “Site”).
 

Information we collect

Qubo collects information from users visiting the Site. This information includes traffic data including a user’s IP address, domain server, type of computer, and type of web browser. We track users’ movements around the Site. Some areas of our Site require you to register and provide your name and contact information. Downloading our software products requires you to register and provide your name, contact information, and intended use case. We collect personal information, such as a user’s name, address, contact information and other personally-identifiable information (“Personal Information” or “PII”) when you register on the Site, request a demo, request a download, subscribe to our blog, enter into a sales promotion or otherwise interact with us (for example through the “contact us” option). Users who register for a free trial account on the Site are prompted to create a user name and password to access their account information. We collect statistical data related to our users’ use of the Site (including Site usage patterns), our software products and our services. You have no obligation to provide us with any PII and the submission of such information is at your sole discretion and consent. However, if you will not provide us with the required information we are unable to provide you with the information, downloads, or services you requested.

 

How we use information

We use the information we collect to analyze trends, to administer the Site, and improve our products and services, for marketing purposes, for improving users’ experience on the Site, and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. We may use the information that you provided us or that we collected from your activity on the Site in combination with PII from other sources and use third-party services to infer your region and the organization you are associated with to tailor the content you see, interact with you, and market directly to you. We compile and store data and information and generate reports related to our users’ access to and use of our Site and products and services. We may share aggregated statistical information with third parties. We do not disclose, sell, or provide your PII to third parties, except in the following circumstances:

You can opt out by either changing your e-mail preferences or using the link provided at the bottom of each email message. We do not send marketing emails to you if you decide to opt out, and we do not sell or provide email addresses to any third party, except in the situations stated above.

 

Policy towards children

We do not knowingly collect PII from children under the age of 16. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with PII without his or her consent, he or she should contact us at info@qubo.uno. If we become aware that a child under the age of 16 has provided us with PII, we will delete such information from our files.


Security


We employ commercially reasonable security measures to protect the PII submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. However, due to the nature of Internet communications and evolving technologies, the security of user information may be compromised at any time through unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other causes. No method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of PII and disclaim any assurance that such information will remain free from loss, misuse, or alteration by third parties who, despite our efforts, obtain unauthorized access.

 

Changes and consent to privacy policy


By registering with Qubo or by using the Site without prior registration, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. We reserve the right to change the provisions of the Privacy Policy from time to time without prior notice and you are therefore advised to check it regularly. Your continued use of the Site after any change to the Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of this Privacy Policy as revised. LINKS Our Site may have links to the sites of other companies. Update/Delete user information


To request access to or deletion of your information, it is best to follow the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the emails you receive from Qubo. You can also write to us at any time to obtain a copy of your information and to have any inaccuracies corrected or if you no longer desire our service (in which case we will endeavor to remove your PII provided to us). Where appropriate, you may have your PII erased, rectified, amended or completed. In order to contact us regarding your information please e-mail info@qubo.uno. To protect your privacy and security, we may take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting access or making corrections, however, you should protect your password from disclosure because anyone who gains access to your password may have access to, and may edit, your profile. While we try to comply with any request pertaining to your PII, in accordance with applicable law, we may not be able to fulfill requests pertaining to information already shared with third parties. Some information may be retained on our systems in accordance with our recordkeeping policies, and some residual digital information cannot be removed or changed.


Enforcement


All Staff having care over Personal Information must comply with the policies, procedures and practices described in the Privacy Policy. Any breach of any term or condition of this Privacy Policy, whether intentional or unintentional, including but not limited to the unauthorized disclosure of Personal Information is grounds for disciplinary action up to and including the immediate dismissal of any and all responsible Staff. Any breach of any term or condition of this Privacy Policy, whether intentional or unintentional, is grounds for dismissal with cause.

 

Compliance with Privacy Policy


The Company will have a procedure that will allow Individuals to challenge the Company's compliance with this Privacy Policy. The Company will also have procedures to promptly respond to Privacy Policy compliance challenges.

The Company will make all reasonable efforts to investigate and respond to compliance challenges relating to this Privacy Policy. Where a challenge is well founded the Company will take action to correct any outstanding problems up to and including amending the Privacy Policy and related procedure.

 

Mediation and Arbitration


In the event a dispute arises out of or in connection with this Privacy Policy, the parties will first attempt to resolve the dispute through friendly consultation.

If the dispute is not resolved within a reasonable period, then any or all outstanding issues may be submitted to mediation in accordance with any statutory rules of mediation. If mediation is not successful in resolving the entire dispute or is unavailable, any outstanding issues will be submitted to final and binding arbitration in accordance with the laws of the State of Brazil. The arbitrator's award will be final, and judgment may be entered upon it by any court having jurisdiction within in the State of Distrito Federal, Brasilia, Brazil.
